haven't posted in a while

hi everyone (who ever even reads this thing)
i haven't posted in a while, the garden is out of control and the pumpkins started to grow as well as the eggplant. sadly, we don't get to see them at their adult life because we have to move on the 29th and that means no garden :(. too bad. anyways, i got a new job working for an acupuncturist and i also decided that im going to school to get my masters in acupuncture. pretty excited for the new journey!!!

we finally were able to start our larger garden bed. very excited.. watermelons, pumpkins (carving our own pumpkins for halloweeeen!) lettuce, eggplant and sunflowers!

the first edible vegetable is done.. haven't eaten it yet, just picked it today but when we do, i'll let you know if it was delicious or not... which i'm sure it's amazing because it received much TLC from meee.

my birdy has been working for hours and days on an art show that is tomorrow in willow glen! last minute stress putting everything together..but its turning out awesome.. here's a sneak peak.

its finally hot here in San Jose and I'm stoked.. I love the hot weather (to an extent of course) and love being able to fall asleep all night in the hammock. Perfect BBQ weather.

one of our favorite places to eat is Tofoo Com Chay.. it's vegetarian food, and its amazing - cheap(ish) too. spicy basil tofu..teriyaki tofu...tomato tofu...mmm mm good.

bike party is a cool thing where once a month about 1,000+ bikers all ride about 30 or so miles around San Jose and neighboring towns/cities in a huge group...it's a huge party, super mellow, tons of fun.

even though i'm completely untalented in an artistic way, my dear sid enck jr makes up for my lacking of it. he's working on a window display right now for Society Boardroom. he's super busy this summer with art shows and of course that means i get to do some fun arts and crafts. weee!

wine country and camping

me and my love went to St. Helena this weekend instead of Big Sur and it was awesome! so beautiful. i fell in love with the area ... so green. we went camping at Bothe & Napa Valley State Park with a few of our old and new friends. I want to go back back soon and go wine tasting .... and buy a yurt and live there forever. mmm.

welcome to my blog! i've never done anything like this before but i feel like its a better and more productive social network than facebook or myspace or any of that. i'm going to start using this as my way of letting people know what i'm up to instead of those - so enjoy and check back often - i'm getting off the ground and trying to capture everything on the way!
